Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, President and CEO of the UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators, inaugurated the UAE Pavilion at COP29. Celeste Saulo, Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization, emphasized:

The session "The Power of AI in Food Systems Innovation" explored how advanced technologies can enhance agricultural resilience, boost food production, and strengthen global food security, showcasing the transformative potential of technology in agriculture.
Achieving Net Zero by 2050
A session titled "Advancing Energy Networks Through Innovation" discussed collaborations between "TAQA" and the Utilities Alliance to develop global electrical grids, aligning with the UAE’s net-zero ambitions for 2050.
Closing Day One with AI-Powered Energy Transition
The day concluded with a session hosted by "Masdar" and the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, highlighting the revolutionary role of AI in accelerating the global energy transition and achieving sustainable development goals.
